The Metro North Children's Learning Center provides children ages 2.9 to 5 years old a learning environment that prepares them with readiness skills needed to enter kindergarten.  We strive to prepare each child both educationally and foster their social and emotional development.  Children are learning through play toward academic achievement in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science Engineering and Technology, Health, Art and History.

Our program believes in the healthy, safe development of children and their families. Children ages 2.9 - 5 are learning skills that will provide an easy transition to elementary school.  While many see “early learning” as “play”, and it is, there are definite, progressive, academic related subject areas being learned.

*       For example: When children play in the sand table the teacher is guiding them through Social Development, Mathematics and, Science exploration.  Also many teachers use the sand table to encourage children in developing their pre-writing skills.  By drawing letters and shapes in the sand their fine motor skills are being developed and they are still having fun!
